 Microsoft is thinking to do something different to beat Apple, they are also trying to duplicate a successful business model to be Apple. Microsoft will launched a app store for windows software. Users will probably get their third-party application by Microsoft itself. For the Standard Windows 8 PC's are coming with 2 modes: touch base metro interference and the more traditional desktop mode. The apps will only be available in the Microsoft app store. They are even selling a second version of its new windows software which is called the Windows RT. The third-party for software is only available in its own app store again.

Several iPod users filed an antitrust lawsuit against Apple. Now -- eight years later -- it's gaining steam

     If your purchased an iPod between September 12, 2006 and March 31, 2009 you might get a surprising email from RealNetworks. iPod owners in a class action lawsuit against Apple. RealNetworks is getting sued because in 2004 the company created Harmony a music service. Users were able to download songs from RealPlayer, on the Apple iPod.  iPod users know that songs have to be downloaded from iTunes to be played on the Apple device. The lawsuit demanded that Apple disobeyed federal and state law by not purchasing songs on iTunes and that the songs came from Harmony. If you own first through four generation of nanos, second and third touches, first through third shuffle then your already included in the lawsuit.

Samsung unveils Galaxy S III smartphone with face, voice recognition

     A new electronic with 4.8-inch screen and a 8 megapixel camera was revealed at a launch party in London om Thursday. Samsung has been having "designed for humans", which is the phone features voice and eye recognition. It also has overtaken Nokia for the best-selling mobile maker. In Juniper Research they reported that Samsung also has overtaken Apple in smart phones sales.

Anontune: the new social music platform from 'Anonymous'

     To attract attention from the music industry, a small group of coders claiming to be Anonymous are putting together a social music platform. Anontune is designed to pull up third party songs sources like youtube, they let anonymous people put them into playlists and share them. One creator of Anontune told Wired that the group was started by a group of anons who met each other online six years ago. The group mostly focused on discussing music, favorite artists and what they would do to fix current music business models.

Poll: Google more popular than Apple, Facebook

82% of American have a favorable opinion of Google, and 53% have "strongly favorable" for Web Titan, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll released last last week. Google expanded  its empire for the past few years, adding Android mobile operating system and Google Plus to its popular features. Not one phone has come to the popularity of Apple's iPhone. Both Google and Apple got best for wealthier respondents.


A full 82% of Americans expressed favorable views of Google in a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll.

Spring Break!

I didn't really do that much for spring break. What I did was have my birthday party! I had my friends come over to watch Hunger Games at the movie theater. The exciting part was, we took a limo everywhere we went!
After that we went to a restaurant called UNO. It was yet the best birthday I ever had. I had so much fun, I didn't want the day to end. I hope my friends had fun too!! I'm also started to read the the series for Hunger Games.

Half of U.S.households own at least one Apple product

The overall ownership rate is 1.6 Apple products per American household, according to a new survey.

     Over half of the households in the country at least has one Apple product. On the 21st century Apple was in rough shape and it avoided bankruptcy. According to CNBC's All-American Economic Survey 51% of the U.S holds at least one Apple product. Both Republics and Democrats like Apple products equally. Although Democrats would like to buy more products soon. If you have kids the percentage of having a Apple household is 61% and if you don't it's 48%.

Amazon to offer $10 gift cards for $5

     On Tuesday Amazon will sell a $10 gift card to its site for half the price. Its to boost customer interest in the nine month Amazon Local service. They will lose money in the deal, but they think it's worth it. January 2011 Amazon ran a similar deal on LivingSocial, a month after it invested $175 million in daily deal sites. LivingSocial  
sold almost 1.4 million of $10-for-$20 gift cards. George won't reveal how many gift cards their handing out  on Tuesday or any stats about it. The service has expanded to 90 cities in 26 states and Washington D.C.

The curious case of the missing iPad 3 home button

   Some readers spotted that there wasn't a home button on the iPad 3. If you looked at the article it's obviously an iPad 2 on it's side. It is also interesting because there are rumors saying that Apple is ditching the home button for the iPad. Using Siri on the iPhone 4s, users hold it down to for a few seconds to ask it a question or if they need help. If Siri makes it to iOS devices it will be hard to get rid of. With the rumors about the missing home button for he iPad it was started around late last year.

Winter!

What I like about winter is it snows and i get to go sledding with my friends. I also get to sit around with my family and watch Christmas movies. There's a lot of sports you can do like skiing or snowboarding.
